1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Import Gateway (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Import Gateway is an online directory and marketplace that connects US importers with foreign suppliers and licensed US customs brokers. The Service provides access to supplier and broker listings, quote request functionality, and landed cost estimation tools.

3. No Guarantee of Transactions

Import Gateway is a marketplace platform. We do not guarantee that any transaction between a buyer and supplier or broker will be completed. We are not a party to any transaction and do not bear responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of goods or services listed on the platform.

4. Supplier and Broker Listings

Supplier listings are sourced from public data and may not be complete or current. Broker listings are sourced from official CBP permitted broker data (updated quarterly).

Claiming a listing represents that you are an authorized representative of the listed entity. Providing false information in connection with a claim is grounds for removal from the platform.

5. Quote Requests

Quote requests submitted through Import Gateway are not binding purchase orders. Landed cost estimates are provided for informational purposes only and may not reflect final actual costs, which depend on current tariff rates, freight rates, and other factors.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data in bulk without authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Impersonate another person or entity

7. Intellectual Property

The Import Gateway platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Import Gateway and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Supplier and broker data sourced from public government records is not subject to our copyright claims.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IMPORT GATEWAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
